At the present time officials at the Federal level are becoming more con- cerned about these areas and are beginning to look for possible solutions on a national scale. However, many State and local governments have passed or are presently considering stiffer legislation. Information on action at these levels can be obtaining by contacting the appropriate State or local agency.
