Standardized test scores typically are compiled only by the schools or school districts that administer the exams; in general, they can be obtained only by contacting school officials in each locality. Of increasing concern are the nationwide average scores on both the American College Test (ACT) and the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). This Info Pack provides basic information and background on standardized educational tests. Statistical material is included to reflect the most recent results of those who have taken these tests who intend to go to college.
