TheWorld Banks concessional lending and grant making facility, IDA is funded bytransfers from World Bank resources and periodic replenishments from World Bankdonor countries. The Bush Administration pursued and achieved a number of objectives at the IDA-14 negotiations. These include implementing a results measurement framework,increasing the allocation of grants, implementing performance-based allocation,increasing transparency of IDA decision-making, and promoting opportunities forprivate sector development in the poorest countries.
