As the worlds largest importer of steel, any such action will not only have ramifications for the global economy, but, according to several reports, could also lead to retaliatory tariffs on American exports, such as Kentucky bourbon, Wisconsin cheese, orange juice, and Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
