CHAIRMAN OF THE JOINT CHIEFS OF STAFF INSTRUCTION J-4 CJCSI 4330.01B DISTRIBUTION:A,B,C,JS-LAN,S 30 April 2010 USE OF NATO LOGISTICAL PLANNING FACTORS BY U.S.FORCES 1.Purpose.To establish policy guidance for the United States use of NATO stockpile planning factors.2.Cancellation.CJCSI 4330.01A,1 October 2004,is canceled.3.Applicability.This instruction applies to all U.S.forces.4.Policy.a.The United States accepts NATO Strategic Commander(SC)stockpile planning guidance that falls within the parameters of U.S.doctrine,tactics,and force deployment and logistics support considerations.When NATO SC guidance is in conflict with the stated U.S.policy,the United States will attempt to resolve the disagreement.If a resolution is not possible,the United States will provide appropriate reservations to the promulgated guidance.b.NATO SC stockpile planning guidance provides a standard by which NATO commanders can measure and evaluate the logistic capability of their committed national forces.The United States strongly supports the concept of achieving unified guidance for stockpile planning among the nations of the Alliance and the efforts taken by the NATO SCs to resolve the differing nation
