2、the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA; P.L. 114-95). Prior to the ESSA, several targeted grant programs were authorized under the ESEA that collectively provided support for many of the activities that can now be supported through SSAE Grants. There has been substantial congressional interest in SSAE
