3、oDI)6055.01,and the April 10,2019 Deputy Secretary of Defense Memorandum,this issuance:Establishes policy,assigns responsibilities,and provides procedures for protecting personnel from overexposure to electromagnetic fields(EMFs)between 0 hertz(Hz)and 300 gigahertz(GHz).Provides guidance on exposure to EMFs in accordance with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers(IEEE)Standard C95.1-2345 and military-unique EMF systems that exceed DoD or IEEE standards due to validated operational needs.Establishes the Transmitted EMF Radiation Protection Working Group(TERPWG).
